Amitraz Application:

1.It is a broad-spectrum acaricide, mainly with tactile action, but also with stomach poisoning, fumigation, food refusal and repellent action, with certain penetration and endosmosis to plants, effective against young mites, adult mites and mite eggs, and effective against mites resistant to other acaricides, with good rapidity and strong persistence. It is mainly used to control cotton red spider and cotton bollworm, red bollworm, apple and hawthorn red spider, citrus leaf mite, wood louse, rusty wallworm, and other pests.

2.It can be used for cattle, sheep and other livestock to control ticks, lice, wall lice, scabies and chiggers, tea tree tarsal mites, beans, eggplant red spider, etc.. For example, for the control of cotton red spider, spray with 20% emulsifiable oil 1000-2000 times evenly from the time of egg hatching to the time when young mites are in full bloom. When the red spider is used together with red bollworm or cotton bollworm, it can be used to a certain extent to treat both insects and mites, and it is safe for natural enemies such as cotton ladybugs and lacewings. For the control of citrus red spider and apple leaf mite, use 20% emulsifiable oil diluted to 1000-2000 times with water to spray. For the control of citrus rust mite, spray with 20% emulsifiable oil diluted to 1000-1200 times with water, and for the control of wood louse, spray with 1500 times with water. To prevent and control livestock ticks such as cattle and sheep, spray or dip with 50-100mg/L concentration.
